1. Punakha Dzong, Punakha

2. Dochula Pass, Thimpu
A war memorial, Dochula Pass was built to commemorate the valor of Bhutanese soldiers who died in a war against Assamese insurgents. The Pass consists of 108 Stupas, built in three layers. The beautiful Gangkar Puensum peak located in the background provides an unparalleled visual treat. The Pass also provides a scenic view of the sacred Druk Wangyel Lhakhang temple and the fusion paintings hanging from it’s walls.
3. Tiger’s Nest, Paro Valley
Paro Taktsang, or commonly known as Tiger’s Nest is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bhutan. The sacred monastery of Guru Rinpoche is an important Himalayan Buddhist site and houses many small temples. You can get a bird’s eye view of the picturesque Paro Valley by trekking to the viewpoint that overlooks the Valley.
4. Norzin Lam Street, Thimpu
If you want to collect some souvenirs from your Bhutan trip, head straight to Norzin Lam Street, a paradise for shopaholics. Here you can find various shops that sell crafts, woolen items, and local wine. Norzin Lam is one of the most popular areas to shop for authentic Bhutanese handmade textiles- Gho, and Khira.
