4 ‘Off The Chart’ Cities Of Europe That Are Worth Your Visit

With Europe having so many people visiting all the famous and the most talked about cities time and time again, there are a lot of other great cities that get missed out on. Also, the tourist-heavy areas and the main busy European capitals don't really show you the most realistic picture of country’s everyday life. A much more interesting or authentic experience can sometimes be found if you are ready to go just a little more than the conventional urban giant and glittery cities. Below is a list of few of such off-beat and underrated, yet beautiful cities (not in a chronological order) that will suffice the traveler and the explorer for you and a must to consider while planning on Europe tour packages from Ahmedabad.

Porto, Portugal

Although one of the most economical and pocket-friendly cities in Western Europe, Porto is not as popular as Lisbon or Algarve, to the visitors. But this city, which once used to be a shabby place is now definitely complete chic; with pastel toned buildings, wide boulevards and beautiful harbors. Locally produced Portuguese cuisine is a must try here. Don't miss out on visiting the nearby Douro Valley, which is a wine region and also a heritage sight wherein the grapes for wines are still trodden by foot. There are very few places in the world where you can find this sight now.

Dresden, Germany

This city is a more compact version of Berlin, and just like Berlin, its open-minded culture along with cheap rents has attracted a lot of artists. The old city boasts world-class museums and Baroque architecture, whereas the newer part of the city will show you a lot of innovative buildings, some of the best nightlife in Germany and a constantly evolving cultural scene.

Bath, England

Bath has its fair share of visitors, but just because of its south-west location, it is usually not considered by people while planning a Europe tour package from Ahmedabad. This small town is well known for its Georgian buildings, Roman spa past and UNESCO heritage site status. Sophisticated but with a free-spirited attitude, Bath is proud of its astonishing architecture and the wide range of independent restaurants, a lot of which have multiple awards to their names.

Tallinn, Estonia

Tallinn is not exactly what someone would call and undiscovered treasure, though, but this increasingly popular Estonian capital is a real deal. Twisting and turning cobbled street with great bars and shops? Check. Beautiful medieval old town? Check. Unbelievably friendly and beautiful locals? Check. This place, located on the Baltic Sea, is the country’s cultural hub. One more place to be visited while here is the St. Nicholas Church, which is a 13th-century exhibit flaunting beautiful ecclesiastical art.
