Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest):

Tiger’s Nest is an architecture marvel, which clings to the cliff located 3120 meters above the sea level. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bhutan Tour Package. The monastery is on an isolated location which adds up its importance. The only way to reach there is through stairs carved from rock which will lead you to some freshly brewed breath taking views of the valley.

Chele la Pass

Bhutan is a mountainous country linked with several passes, Chele la pass is the highest road pass in the country located at 31,000 ft above sea level between the valley of Haa and Paro. This is a vantage point for tourists who want to encounter the view of a frozen river or a splashing waterfall or a forest with yaks (depending on the season). The way to reach there is through the dense forest which will cater you to a point from where you can see both, Haa and Paro valley. It is a must see on your Bhutan Tour Package.

National Museum

It is a retreat for lovers of history as it stores years of evolution of Bhutan engulfed within its circular walls. It is a six storey building which was earlier a Watch tower against Tibetan soldiers. The museum plays an important part in Bhutan Tour Package because it has conserved all the belongings from the past. This includes pots & vessels, Cane and Bamboo products, arms and weapons, ritual objects, animals and birds specimen, clothing and jewellery collection, Bhutanese stamps, scroll paintings, etc.

Drukgyel Dzong

To mark the victory of Bhutan over Tibet, Drukgyel Dzong was made (now in ruins). This site is under UNESCO as it holds an important cultural value for Bhutan. Yet, marvelous stone work can be seen in the building. It was earlier used as a watch tower to keep a track of enemies. It has been compromised due to the fire in 1951. Restoration of the site is under UNESCO and will be restored soon to enrich the visual attractions and rich cultural value of Bhutan.
